Student Achievements
Every year, approximately 500+ music students from across the district participate in both county and state level auditions and competitions.
Through this process, Williamsville music students are consistently selected to participate in All-County Band,
Orchestra, and Chorus, NYSBDA Honor Bands, NYSSMA Area All-State and All-State, and NAfME All-Eastern Honors Ensembles.
The Williamsville Central School District has been selected as one of the nation's "Best Communities for Music Education" by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation. The NAMM Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing active participation in music, announced the results of its annual "Best Communities" survey.
This award acknowledges schools and districts across the U.S. for their commitment and support for music education as part of the core curriculum. Williamsville is one of over 700 school districts and individual schools to be recognized nationally. Williamsville has earned the designation every year consecutively since 2009.
